Holland America Line’s Rotterdam is turning around in the city of the same name on September 8 during the world port days. These traditionally take place on the 7th, 8th and 9th of September around the Maas River. This year the theme is music.
A wide range of activities is offered to the visitors. There are spectacular stunts on the water from the Erasmus Bridge and also the Wilhelminakade. Excursions to port companies located in Rotterdam demonstrate what the ships and other sailing equipment are capable of. During the weekend visitors can get a glimpse behind the scenes of Europe’s largest harbour and its industrial area. This annual maritime event offers all kind of activities such as ship tours, naval activities, demonstrations, seminars, excursions, exhibitions, music and fireworks.
