Portree

Portree

Portree is the enchanting capital town of the Isle of Skye on Scotland's west coast. A natural harbour, Portree is protected by the towering cliffs of Ben Tianavaig, offering a deep sheltered anchorage for visiting cruise ships. Wherever you go on the sland you will find the Gaelic language and culture still thriving, giving Skye a distinctly different feel to mainland Scotland. The town centre is only five minutes walk from the quayside past pretty pastel coloured shops and houses.
